Established in the heart of Beirut in 1970, L'Escorial prides itself for holding a large and varied collection of unique pieces that have been selected with expert care and precision. The breadth of the gallery’s collection is wide, and includes items from a range of periods and Styles .
Monumental Cobalt Blue Vincennes-Sèvres vases with the double L royal cypher enclosing Date-Letter E or F painted and signed by G. Poitevin with covers of kissing doves, dedicated "Offert par le Duc de Richelieu à la princesse de Lamballe" .The lyre-handles are surmounted by an angel holding a tasseled rope, the base cast with tasseled drapery and the shield with three Fleurs de Lys associated with French monarchy, specifically the House of Bourbon .
The Vases have been acquired by the Sammakieh family from a castle in Spain around 1939 and were shipped to Beirut at the end of world war II and have been in their possession ever since.
They are in perfect condition.

This piano was made by Collard & Collard in London, England around 1885. Brothers, Frederick William and William Frederick formed the company in 1832 after their involvement in various partnerships that published music and sold pianos and other musical instrument
Collard & Collard was know for creating unique pianos for royalty and other leaders during the 19th century. This beautiful piano was specially constructed with the finest and most expensive woods and veneers of its day, including burled rosewood with French lacquer finish..
